Super 1-2-3 tyre rack
Connectable tyre rack This is an additional module for efficient and cost-effective extension of the tyre storage queue. This solution allows you to extend your existing rack at a significantly lower cost: as the plug-in section requires fewer components (only one side frame is included), each additional metre of storage for your wheels costs less. Like the base model, this rack ensures correct, upright storage of your tyres, protecting them from deformation and loss of performance.
This is the ATTACHED TABLE.
IMPORTANT - Complete: the price of this frame already includes all the parts you need. You will receive the frame assembled (or ready to assemble) with horizontal and diagonal joints, plastic foot pads (to protect the floor) and top caps. No hidden costs or extra purchases!
Efficient operating principle
- Patented technology: the structure is assembled without screws, using Metalsistem's unique connectors that do not loosen over time.
- Certified steel: only 3.1 certified, high strength structural steel (S400) complying with the stringent requirements of EN10204 is used standards.
- Long-lasting coating: steel is galvanised using the Sendzimir process, which protects the parts from corrosion both externally and internally.
- Regular geometry: the sipes are designed to support the tyre in a stable way, without slipping or losing its shape, even after a long storage season.

Planning Guide
Planning Guide
When planning the location of the racking in the room, please refer to the following standard dimensions for the Storsistem range:
Assembly instructions:
Heights of the risers (frames):
The most popular heights range from 2000 mm to 3000 mm, mostly used in industrial warehouses and archives:
- 1850 mm (Standard for garage, office or home storage)
- 2000 mm
- 2500 mm (Most popular warehouse height in Lithuania)
- 3000 mm (For maximum storage volume utilisation)
Shelf Depths
„The depth of the Metalsistem is selected according to the dimensions of the goods or plastic boxes to be stored:
- 320 mm (Ideal for document archives and small details)
- 400 mm
- 500 mm (Universal choice for commercial and domestic use)
- 600 mm (Industry standard for logistics warehouses)
- 700 mm | 800 mm (for bulky goods)
Shelf lengths (Section width)
The length of the shelf indicates the net usable area between the two stands:
- 600 mm | 900 mm | 1050 mm
- 1200 mm (The most popular choice on the market)
- 1350 mm | 1500 mm | 1650mm | 1800 mm
Shelf adjustment step:
- Every 33 mm (perforation at the full height of the stand).
Accurate Queue Length Calculation
IMPORTANT: Shelving frames have their own thickness, so the total length of the row is always greater than the sum of the shelves themselves.
- The Golden Rule: Add 90 mm to the total length of the shelves.
- Formula: Total row length = (Sum of all shelf lengths) + 90 mm
- Example: joining 3 sections of 1200 mm each:
- Construction: 3600 mm + 90 mm (thickness of all frames).
- Final result: you need 3690 mm of free floor space.
Tip: If you are installing the racking in a recess or between walls, always leave an additional tolerance of 10-20 mm to ensure that the structure fits easily even if the walls are uneven.
Important Information for the Buyer
Basic vs Plug-in module:
Each row must start from the Base Module (2 stands). All other sections are pluggable (1 rack) and connect to the previous structure, thus saving space and reducing cost.
Load Table (Maximum Load Capacity).
Loads are calculated in accordance with LST EN 15635, assuming uniform distribution of loads (UDL).
| Shelf length (mm) |
Maximum load per level (kg) |
Recommended use |
| 600 - 900 mm |
up to 650 kg |
Heavy parts, tools, archives |
| 1050 - 1200 mm |
up to 330 kg |
The most popular choice for warehouses |
| 1350 - 1500 mm |
up to 240 kg |
Lightweight, bulky goods, boxes |
| 1800 mm |
up to 180 kg |
For light, long loads only |
Total section load: one Super 1-2-3 section (frame) can bear up to 1500 kg.

How to choose ?
How do I choose a rack size for my tyres?
To make it easier, we've prepared recommendations for the most popular tyre sizes (based on 1 standard set of 4):
-
Standard and compact cars
(Popular sizes: 195/65 R15, 205/55 R16, 215/55 R16, 225/45 R17) The combined width of four such tyres is about 780-900 mm. As the outer diameter of the wheel is standard, a deep frame is not necessary.
- Recommended rack: Length 900 mm | Depth 400 mm (Note: If the tyre width is 225 mm, they will fit perfectly in a 900 mm rack with no gaps).
-
Mid-range and Premium cars
(Popular sizes: 235/45 R18, 245/45 R18, 255/40 R19) Four of these tyres range in width from 940 mm to 1020 mm, so they simply won't fit in a 900 mm rack.
- Recommended rack: Length 1200 mm | Depth 400 mm (This rack will accommodate 4 wide tyres with room to spare for small garage items).
-
SUVs and Minibuses
(Popular sizes: 235/65 R17, 255/50 R19, 275/40 R20, 215/65 R16C) Off-road tyres are not only wide but also have a large outer diameter. A deeper frame is necessary to keep the large wheel stable against the sipes and prevent it from falling out.
- Recommended rack: length 1200 mm | depth 500 mm
Universal counting rule:
If your tyre size is different, apply this simple formula:
- Length: Multiply the first tyre number (width in millimetres) by the number of tyres (e.g. 205 mm x 4 pieces = 820 mm. You need a rack of at least 900 mm).
- Depth: always choose a depth of 400 mm for cars (up to R18). For large SUVs and vans, 500 mm depth.
